Meet Just a Few of the Special

People Who Make Us Work

Angela Sheehan

A single mom who works hard to provide
for her son, Angela Sheehan says she’s so grateful CareGivers NW gives her a flexible schedule to be there
for her boy, and good health care, dental and retirement benefits. “I feel loyal to them because they’re loyal
to me.

Christy Kropf

When Christy Kropf’s daughter was 2-weeks old she had to have major surgery. “That was my first experience with meeting caregivers with open arms saying, ‘I’m here for you, what do you need?’” That “mom experience” drives Christy to give her clients the best care she can every day, and having an employer who respects her family time makes the job that much more special.

Jessica Matthews

As her beloved grandmother grew older, Jessica Matthews cherished spending time with her, hearing stories, reciting recipes, sharing laughs. She learned that time was precious, and brings that perspective to her job at CareGivers NW.  “A lot of times what they really need is companionship, and that really is the best part of my job.”

Johnny Lopez

When he was a kid, Johnny Lopez spent most of his childhood in the foster care system. He was lucky to be placed with a loving family who treated him like blood and to this day, showers him with love. Knowing how love and compassion can change a life, Johnny brings his best to his CareGivers NW clients every single day, an effort that won him the Caregiver of the Year Award.

Lita
Prouse

Meet Lita Prouse, an administrator at CareGivers NW’s Idaho Falls office. With her bright personality (and hair!), calm demeanor and ability to manage many situations, Lita is one of the many people who make caregivers work.

Jacelyn Harrop

Jacelyn Harrop looked for a new job in 2019 after a horrible experience working as a caregiver for another employer. Once hired at CareGivers NW, she immediately knew things would be better. Pay, benefits, dignity and respect and a flexible schedule that allows her to go to college while working are just a few of the reasons she now loves her job. She was able to work her way up from caregiver to working in the main office as a scheduling coordinator. “When you join our circle, you’re not just getting a job - you’re joining a family.”.

Ashley Millward

Say hello to Ashley Millward, a mom of two young kids who loves her job as a caregiver for CareGivers NW. She appreciates the pay, benefits and flexibility with her schedule. “I don’t have to worry about when the kids get sick,” she says. But the thing Ashley loves most about her job? The clients.

Sharla Avery

Idaho caregiver Sharla Avery says knowing she's appreciated for all that she does for her clients inspires her to give her very best every single day. Learn more about Sharla's story here.
